Can I have an item custom engraved?
The answer is yes. Most items available have an option for ‘Custom Engraving’. If you can’t find this option for a specific item it usually means there isn’t a lot of room for custom engraving and so it isn’t standard practice. We are still able to add custom engraving. We just may need to remove other engraving to fit the new content.
How long will it take for me to get my item?
It will take us 3-5 business days from the time you place your order or finalize custom engraving with us.
Shipping within Australia usually takes about 1 week. Shipping to anywhere outside of Australia can take anywhere between 3-5 weeks.
Are you able to create completely custom items?
We can make scratch built custom items upon request. If you would like us to take a look at prototyping and building something for you please get in touch with us at: etchelon@outlook.com
What format works best for custom engraving?
Vector formats work best for our machinery. These formats include: .SVG .EPS .PDF
If you can’t source your graphic in a vector format we are usually able to work with .JPGs and .PNG files but sometimes we will lose some of the finer details while converting to an etch ready format.
Can you engrave my items?
We don’t engrave personal items.
What are your products made out of?
Timber is cut into thin veneer and laminated together to form a plywood. The grain of the timbers constructing the plywood are layered in opposing directions. This lends strength and flexibility to the timber.
The timbers we use are all Australian and include Tasmanian Blackwood and Queensland Cherry and Victorian Ash.
